HIKING:

FAVORITE TRAILS:

South Yuba riverside trail from Purdon Crossing to Edwards Crossing: 4.5 miles, moderate hike, 2.5 hours, no motorized vehicles.

North Yuba Trail winds through old growth woodlands along the Yuba to and from Goodyear’s Bar. This trail is rated exceptional for both mountain bikers and day hikers, as well as, being well liked by equestrians. The eight mile hike takes about 4 hours.

Mountain Mine and Sierra Buttes Vista trail is simply breathtaking. The granite peaks just a fourty-five minute drive from Willow Creek Campground are surrounded by lakes and a matrix of well marked, maintained trails.

You can’t go wrong if you choose any one of the five trails in South Yuba River State Park.
